I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner trained in assisting clients throughout the lifespan. I feel that clients do better when their provider listens with empathy, offers evidence-based treatment, and engages in shared decision making regarding their care. I utilize a patient-centered care model to help with many mental health illnesses, such as ADHD, addiction/substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. I am licensed and authorized to prescribe and manage your mental health medications, including medication assisted therapy (MAT) with Suboxone.

This is me. I’m a 40 something husband, dad, Registered Nurse with an incredible life. There has been something bothering me for years though. Its a private struggle, that’s difficult to talk about, people usually don’t know how to react, and there are limited resources. I’ve had depression and its various tentacles for many many years. It’s a personal war that is fought silently most of the time. I’ve self medicated to the point of addiction, suffered from severe anxiety, eviscerated relationships, cried, thrown shit, and many other mostly bad things. But now i’m surrendering and going outward by writing words, presenting them publicly, and expressing myself. I want to redefine the word MENTAL by bringing it front and center in a positive, cool way. By wearing the MENTAL brand, I hope you’ll be a safe place for yourself and others.
